Start with what is familiar
A meal plan can begin with foods your household already enjoys. Think about the different food groups across your week and where you could add variety. Your circumstances, culture and available foods matter.
A locally relevant starting point
List the vegetables, fruit, grains and protein foods available where you shop. Familiar Kenyan options may include sukuma wiki, beans, ndengu, maize, potatoes and seasonal fruit. This is a planning exercise, not a prescribed meal plan.
Choose one manageable change
Review a usual meal and identify one addition or substitution you would enjoy. Make a short shopping list and choose a step that fits your budget and cooking routine.
Make it personal
Individual dietary needs can differ. Seek qualified advice if you need a plan for a health condition, pregnancy or another specific circumstance.
