Understand your reason

Write down what you want the product to help with. Is the description clear about its intended use, or does it promise more than you can reasonably assess?

Look for clear information

Check the ingredients or components, directions, warnings, price and seller information. Ask questions when details are missing. A testimonial does not establish that a product will work for you.

Know when to ask a professional

A clinician or pharmacist can help you assess suitability when you take medicines or have specific health needs. Do not use a product purchase as a reason to stop prescribed treatment.

You can take your time

Keep the information, compare your options and decide when you feel informed. Pressure to buy quickly should not replace a clear explanation.
